Why Invest in Hardwood

Hardwood floors have several advantages over other flooring options, including:

1

  • Durability

Hardwood floors are known for their durability and can last for decades if maintained properly. They are less likely to scratch or dent compared to other flooring materials like carpet or vinyl.

2

  • Appearance

Hardwood floors have a timeless and classic look that can enhance the aesthetic value of any room. They come in a variety of colors and patterns and can be sanded and refinished to restore their original beauty.

3

  • Easy to Maintain

Hardwood floors are easy to clean and maintain. They do not trap dust, dirt, or allergens like carpets, making them a better choice for people with allergies.

4

  • Increased Value

Hardwood floors are a sought-after feature in homes, and having them can increase the resale value of a property. They are also considered a luxury item, which can make a home more attractive to potential buyers.

5

  • Eco-friendly

Hardwood floors are a sustainable and eco-friendly flooring option as they are made from natural materials that can be replenished.

Have questions? We can help.

How do I pick the right wood for my Colorado home?

Most hardwoods like oak, hickory, and more are well suited for our dry Colorado climate. Exotic woods from other parts of the world like rainforests can suffer from the lack of humidity, even after being acclimated. If you have an active or high traffic area of your home, another thing to consider is the hardness of the wood. Harder woods tend to hold up better against scratches and dents.

How long does it take to install a new hardwood floor?

It really depends on the size of the area that we're installing, most of our jobs take a week or so from start to finish. We acclimate the new wood ahead of your install, so plan on having the wood on site for at least a week before we craft your new floor.

I'm ready to get a quote, else do I need to know?

Other things to consider are: How will you move your furniture, and where will you store it during the installation? Do you need us to remove the old flooring, or will you do arrange that? When would you like your new floor to be completed? These answers will assist us in scheduling and properly estimating your costs.
